John Butler has been working on three dimensional constructions for a number of years.
Along with his artistic skills John's work often depicts a strong sense of humour ,
and his fellow members think his work is rather quirky.

The Great Alpine Gallery has recently received funding from The Regional Solutions Programme for a community kiln and local Potter Willy Robins tutored John and other gallery members in it's use.
John is also mentoring a local student in the construction of Ceramic and Metal sculptures to enhance a local walking path .
This project is sponsored through the Victorian Department of Youth Affairs.
