13 December 2009. Omeo-Falls Creek-Mt Beauty-Myrtleford-Mt Hotham-Omeo. Forgot to set the trip meter but 350ish.
Marijis (XVS650), Alan (T100), Steve (XV750) and Graeme (TDM900)

9am at Omeo for coffee before departing at 9.30.
We watched the Harley /Triumph party (left) that had
stayed at the "Age" get ready for their own departure.

We were discussing at what time Marijis might turn
up when(left), she appeared! Check the tyres.

And so its off and here are the crew on the way
to Anglers Rest, (left, above and below left)

Getting closer to Anglers Rest, Alan and Steve in front
(below left) shot over the shoulder, Marijis behind.

Over the bridge at Anglers Rest (inset of Marijis)

And on to the Falls Creek Road. This has been recently resealed and the mob that had come down the previous
day and stayed at the "Age" had told the servo that the
loose gravel was bad. They had had a worrying time
apparently and the warning had been duly passed to us.

We had no problem and the gravel issue wasnt one.
Must be used to freeways?  Heres Alan.

We stopped at Langfords West to look at the scenery
including the canal. This is the best time of year
up here for sure.

And then on a bit further to the Rocky Valley Storage

Really just beautiful and the top right pic is just to prove
I was there. Camera cleverly taking its own pic and
showing the flora thats just everywhere and flowering.

With almost no other traffic the run down to
Mt Beauty was just exhilarating, even Steve was
impressed.

Another run down to Myrtleford via the Dedderang
Road saw us coming into town via a different way and
just a little off the main drag. This bakery cafe was
just terrific. Camera taking own pic again (right)

Next stop Mt Hotham after a good run up the mountain.

The others eventually turned up.

Across the road from the above photos, a deck and the
view towards home. Again, photo (right) just to prove I
was there.

We enjoyed a great run down the mountain and home.
Thanks everyone! A great day. Dont worry, Steve is
having a haircut on Wednesday.
  PS.   missed one.

Elegance personified!
